How do I run an UPDATE to UNARCO
Rack Engine?
answer: Open The Rack Engine and click on updates and it will begin automatically. Download times vary depending on your internet connection speed. If you have trouble, contact Rick Benton at UNARCO - 1-800-862-7261. What if I miss a Rack Engine update? answer: The Rack Engine will catch you up. You simply click on the run updates tab and it will automatically bring your program up to date. What do I do if I do not have a distributor login? answer: Go to: http://www.unarcorack.com/unarcorackengine/rackenginesignup.aspx and fill out the request form. If you have trouble with the form, contact Donnie Leftrick at 1-800-862-7261. Why does the Rack Engine not show up correctly since I switched to Windows 7? answer: The display mode must be changed for Windows 7 use with The Rack Engine. While on your desktop, right click and click on "Personalize" and then click the "Display" option on the left. Choose the option "Smaller" and follow the instructions on the screen. The Rack Engine will now view correctly. How long should it take to perform a Rack Engine update? answer: The update time is solely dependent on the speed of your internet connection. Some updates may be performed in 1 minute or less and larger updates can take up to 10 minutes depending on your internet connection. If any update has not finished after 20 minutes or more, you should uninstall the Rack Engine and reinstall the program. How can I get back to the pallet rack system DESIGNER step-by-step module after I have created a bill of materials? answer: Go back to the PALLET RACK module on the main screen and continue to the LOAD DESIGN page.
